What we feed our Dogs

We feed a diet based on mainly meat products and NO GRAIN to our dogs.  When purchasing a commercial pet food look for a high quality brand where the first 3-4 main ingredients are meat or meat by products. STAY AWAY FROM FILLERS LIKE CORN, WHEAT, BARLEY, OATMEAL. Instead, look for ingredients like potatoes, sweet potatoes or brown rice.  Dogs in nature, were not designed to eat grains and can develop allergies, skin problems, ear infections, bladder infections, and digestive upset including excessive gas because of grain fillers used for their food.
In the wild a dog's diet consists of mainly meats and roughage eaten from the stomach contents of their pray.
Look for high quality ingredients packed with nutrients and vitamins. Fruits, vegetables, yogurt, berries.

This is an extra special treat that our dogs love!  And a regular batch is made up whenever we have puppies on the way!!  Wagging tails (or in the boxer world, "wiggly butts" are surrounding the kitchen counter at every batch!!
